Hours after the publication of the Saville report into Bloody Sunday which was followed practically instantaneously by a grovelling abject apology by weakling Cameron where in eager response to 'say something', 'anything' which would appease, he called that situation "unjustifiable".
Lord Tebbit has since 'justly' today demanded an inquiry into the Brighton bombing.
"For my part, I hope that Mr Cameron’s unwillingness to contemplate any more costly open-ended inquiries will not exclude a public inquiry into the Brighton murders at the Conservative Party Conference in 1984. Just as the families of the victims at Londonderry had a right to know whether people in high places had plotted the killings, so the surviving victims and the families of the dead of Brighton deserve to know if the killer Magee acted on his own, or whether the murders were plotted by people in IRA/Sinn Fein – and, if so, who those plotters were. The victims of Brighton are no less important than those of Londonderry. They should not be treated as second-class victims".
Of course I doubt whether Cameron will order such an inquiry since he doesn't have the bottle to work on the result it might bring, or deal with the real issue of who was to blame in the first place for troops being ordered into Northern Ireland either.
Old wounds can only be opened up if they involve us, and apologies can only be given to murders in Britain if you happen to have a pathetically inadequate, apologetic and appeasing self-appointed gobshite like Cameron for Prime Minister! The Prime Minister who would sell his own soul if he had one, if it made him popular, and has not one scruple about selling even his own party principles of patriotic pride and conservatism by begging blacks, gays, Muslims and Liberal wish-list types to vote for Dave!
