Since The Palace has seen fit to be open about HM Queen Elizabeth entering politics by admitting she reads Mr Griffin's blog. I wonder what next we'll hear?
I have a tracker on mine so I can see the ISP address of anyone who lands on my blog, and although I receive many hits from the ISP's at Westminster and the City of London, I can't recall having notice one from Buck House lately.
Mr Griffin apparently had his invitation to the Queen's garden party revoked due to what they say was 'overt politicization' of the invitation, when he wrote on his blog asking for suggestions to questions he should pose if fortunate enough to have a conversation with Her Maj.
Although I guess this was a bit tongue in cheek from Mr Griffin, and that it was more the case that he was simply letting members know of his attendance and that he had not turned in to 'one of them'. i.e. "I'll be there representing the members".

It's quite surprising of the Queen to set a precedent over such a small infringement, and I think if she'd left well alone, and kept Mr Griffin's invitation as was, then it would have merely confirmed her magnanimous approach to her people as well as her distance from party politics. But with her decision to cancel Mr Griffin's invitation, she has shown quite the opposite as the papers will be full of this story tomorrow, Mr Griffin has appeared on Sky News, and bloggers are going AWOL to get their thoughts in print. In short, the Queen has now caused what amounts to a political debacle with what some might say is an extreme reaction to exclude an elected member of the European parliament from her party, which opens a cans of worms politically when people rightly ask her views on the subjects raised by Mr Griffin in his blog.
Has she not opened a can of worms at the party by admitting she reads it?
Incidentally Mr Griffin by his exclusion from the party, has definitely proven that he is 'not one of them', and that can only be a good thing. I suggest he makes his own sandwiches and rips the invitation up if ever he manages to get to Number 10 as prime minister for hell knows we need one who doesn't go grovelling to the elite who are apparently too high up to be involved with the likes of us common folk.
If you do read my blog, then no hard feelings your Majesty, I know they must have made you do it.
Nice hat by the way your Majesty if I may be so bold.

I think the palace withdrawing Mr G's invite was disgraceful, but at the same time it backfired on the palace! Mr G and the BNP go from strength to strength!
