Webster Tarpley - The World in Crisis

Webster Tarpley gives a run down on where we are economically, politically and socially, and tells us what he thinks the future holds. "Think of Germany in the 30's", Tarpley says as he explains the "decline of civilization". He says in California if you ring 911 with a crime report, the operator now asks whether it involves a crime in progress otherwise 'send us an email'. So poor is the ability of many U.S. States to meet their budgets and to stem bankruptcy, they are cutting emergency services.

Webster Tarpley is an author, investigative journalist, lecturer, and critic of US foreign and domestic policy. An activist and a historian best known for his George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography (1992), which has become an underground classic on the Internet. He co-authored American Leviathan: Administrative Fascism Under the Bush Regime (1991), which identified many tendencies which have become prominent today.
